Ladder transoms are load-bearing components that attach to ledgers to provide sufficient room for both plank and ladder access. Made of galvanised steel, these combine the durability of the original scaffold transom with greater accessibility, creating an efficient kwikstage bay.

Test Results Installation Guide
The Ladder Transom attaches to kwikstage systems to create an opening in a scaffold bay for ladder access. Ladder Transoms clamp onto two Ledgers and secured to create an opening. Common practice on many construction sites is a 2.4M bay using 1.8M Steel Planks. The remainder 0.6M opening is sufficient access for Aluminium Ladders.
The model is an inverted ‘T’ section to support the platform with scaffold tubing on the end for the opening.The length of ‘T’ section is available in sizes between 0.7 to 2.4M.
Ladder Transoms enable personnel to quickly access a multi-level scaffolding system. Each model is manufactured with painted, or galvanised steel and satisfies AS 1576. Optimal for residential and commercial projects. It allows for quick access to scaffolding platforms without losing durability and strength, saving time and increasing productivity.
